Head of Compliance

Our client is seeking a Head of Risk & Compliance to join their business.

In this broad and exciting role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the firm complies with all relevant legislation and regulations, managing risks to the business, and monitoring the firm’s professional standards.

Your responsibilities in this role would include:

• Spearheading the development and implementation of the firm’s risk management framework and compliance program
• Advising and providing guidance to senior stakeholders on risk and compliance issues
• Vigilantly monitoring the firm’s compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and laws, reporting any issues/concerns to senior stakeholders
• Conducting audits to identify areas for improvement in the firm’s quality and risk management systems

Additionally, you will need some or all of the following qualifications and experience:

• Experience leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance programs and risk frameworks
• Sound knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as those relating to data protection, financial services, and anti-money laundering
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, being able to effectively provide clear and concise guidance and advice to senior stakeholders and other staff
• Qualified Solicitor (desirable)
