Data Protection Analyst

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Data Protection Analyst to join a Leading UK Accountancy Firm. In this role, you’ll support firm-wide operations to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations. This role is a part-time, pro-rated position with a requirement of 1 day a week in the office. 

We’re looking for someone with a strong background in data protection/privacy, risk management or compliance. Candidates with a recognised data protection qualification (CIPP/E, CIPM, or equivalent) would prove appealing to our client, though it is not a compulsory requirement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building strong client relationships 
• Advising on compliance with UK and international data protection laws
• Developing data protection policies and procedures
• Supporting clients with risk mitigation
• Designing and delivering bespoke data protection training
• Managing data breaches and responding to data subject rights requests
• Conducting audits and providing compliance-related recommendations
• Reviewing supplier contracts and handling international data transfers
• Acting as the contact for data protection authorities
• Leading compliance projects and supporting client onboarding
