Risk & Compliance Analyst

Our client is seeking a Risk & Compliance Analyst to join their Reputable Offshore Law Firm in Southampton. In this role, you’ll provide expert analysis on systems and projects, you'll drive improvements in AML/CFT and sanctions processes and support key compliance projects.

The ideal candidate has strong AML experience and a good understanding of offshore regulations, most preferably gained within a similar role in a law firm. You’ll play a key part in system implementation and training whilst supporting robust sanctions screening and customer due diligence processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the implementation and maintenance of AML/CFT systems and controls
• Conducting user acceptance testing and suggesting improvements
• Working with the management team to ensure effective sanctions screening
• Assisting with complex CDD queries and new client take-ons
• Aiding senior personnel with new client onboarding
• Preparing and delivering compliance training
• Producing management reports on AML/CFT and sanctions
• Leading improvements across AML/CFT policies, systems, and controls
