Our client is seeking a future trainee to join them as an in-house Risk Paralegal. This role is perfect for someone with excellent IT skills, a strong knowledge of commercial law, who can liaise with multiple departments in the firm, and who is highly organised. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a reputable law firm before starting your training contract, develop your skills, and get exposure to the risk and compliance function.

Some of the responsibilities will include:

• Support the development of the contract management system, including lifecycle tracking and communication
• Update templates and supplier questionnaires for supply chain contracts
• Review and amend supplier agreements, identifying key risks
• Offer practical guidance on the operational aspects of the procurement process
• Maintain contract lifecycle processes, templates, and intranet links
• Support training programs for consistent procurement practices
• Assist with firm-wide projects and ESG initiatives, coordinating supplier onboarding and prioritizing contracts
