Compliance Analyst

We are working with a top 100 UK law firm to hire a Compliance Analyst based in Bath. In this role, you’ll provide efficient, professional first-tier support on a wide range of compliance and risk queries, working as a key point of contact across the business and supporting the wider team in maintaining and improving best practice standards.

The firm is seeking a candidate with previous experience in a legal environment and a solid understanding of compliance topics such as AML and data protection. Ideally, you will have around 2+ years’ experience in a similar advisory and administrative role.

The responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the first point of contact for risk and compliance enquiries, escalating where needed
• Responding to and reviewing first-line GDPR breaches and AML queries
• Supporting client onboarding processes, including PEP and sanctions checks
• Monitoring and reporting on internal risk registers and compliance systems
• Providing admin support for external audits and maintaining relevant certifications
• Managing the team’s diary, coordinating meetings, and tracking follow-ups
• Assisting with file audits and compiling documentation to support investigations

They are looking for candidates with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
